Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron ($2.6 million)

Bugatti Veyron Eb 16.4 Super Sport is the most expensive supercar in the world at price of $2.6 million, designed and developed by the German Volkswagen Group and produced by Bugatti Automobiles SAS. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport version is the fastest road-legal car in the world, with a top speed of 431.07 km/h (267.85 mph). It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-100kph in 2.2 seconds. Grand Sport engine got 1001 hp with exclusive 16-cylinder engine. The Veyron line of cars is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti company. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 also has 2.7 inch LCD mirror.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ($2.21 million)

The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is a limited edition version of the CCXR. Koenigsegg Trevita is designed based on Koenigsegg CCXR and added with new shimmering diamond carbon fiber, named “Trevita” in Swedish means “three whites”. Koenigsegg produced only three Trevitas in total, hence this name, this makes the Trevita one of the rarest cars in the Koenigsegg family cars. The car uses a 4.8-liter twin-supercharged V8 engine running on biofuel that produces 1018 horsepower (759 kW / 1032 PS). Torque tops out at 1060 Nm (782 ft-lb). The body work includes use of the double carbon wing, paddle-shift, inconell exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, hydraulic lifting system, infotainment system, tyre monitoring system, chrono instrument cluster and special type of airbags. The Trevita hits 200 km/h in 8.75 seconds. This most expensive car worth $2.21 millions.

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster ($1.88 million)

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster car cost $1.8 million and is produced by Pagani in Italy. Only five units of the same model have been constructed. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is constructed with carbon and suspension is made of titanium and magnesium. Moderl powered by 678 HP Mercedes AMG V12, only 3.4 seconds to reach 100 kms/hours. Model can reach 217 mph top speed.

Lamborghini Reventon ($1.6 million)

Maybach 62 Landaulet is one of the most expensive cars cost $1.35 million. The Landaulet features a spacious backseat with plush seats more appropriate for a living room, or a Gulfstream, than a car. Maybach is all about luxury, but now the company has unveiled an armored version for those who want to combine hardcore safety with that same luxury. Called the Maybach Guard, this new vehicle is based on the 62 model and features an integrated safety system by the German engineers in Sindelfingen. The new Guard system will not only offer high protection, but it will also be the only armored car in the world to be able to reach a top speed of 155 mph and get from 0 to 60 in just 5.7 seconds. Maybach 62 Landaulet is powered by the 62S’ 612-horsebower biturbo V12, the Landaulet’s front seats are fully enclosed and separated from the rear passenger compartment by a removable divider.

This most expensive car SSC Ultimate Aero TT costing $730,000 holding the position of the fastest production car in the world and still credited as such in the Guinness Book of World Records. The 2010 model engine that can deliver 1,287 bhp, can produce a possible top speed of 257 mph and an acceleration rate of 0-60 in 2.7 seconds. It is estimated that only 25 of this exact model will ever be produced.

With a top speed of 248 mph, The Saleen S7 uses a 7 liter 750 HP V-8 engine. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. S7 still remains to be one of the more recognizable supercars on the list.

As per records the most luxury car is the 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe which was sold for a whopping $8,700,000.00 in 1987.
